Will definitely stay again... Great stay here, room very clean bed comfy. Had a hot brekky was excellent. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay again. Really pleased overall.

The service was great... I needed a bed, it was dark so I called the Shady Rest motel quite late, the service was great! A typical older style motel, very Australian... great room fan and AC, add in good showers - fluffy towels and well vacuumed carpets. The Shady Rest is a well maintained place - a credit to staff. You can see they care, the mirrors in units are sparkling clean.

Quiet, clean and spacious... The bed was comfy and the room was quiet, clean and spacious. The motel is situated next to the Bruce Highway, yet the rooms were quiet. Barbara was helpful in providing cutlery and bowls so that we could self-cater for breakfast. The room is serviced/replenished daily. We ordered breakfast on our last morning and wow, what a breakfast. Thanks Barbara

Above and beyond... We stayed at the Shady Rest for a night before going to Fraser Island. Barbara was super lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. We had a family group of 10 & she went above and beyond to make sure that we were all comfortable.

Spotlessly clean with comfortable beds... Older style motel; spotlessly clean with comfortable beds meant a good nights sleep despite being at the front of the motel; traffic noise from the Bruce Highway did not disturb; 10% discount at the RSL for staying here a nice bonus as were the complimentary biscuits, to go with the tea & coffee. Fridge and wine glasses most welcome. Value for an overnight stay.

A nice, cosy, simple motel with all the basic facilities including AC. Barbara was so wonderful to us going out of her way to help, cooking our rice and even calling back to check on an item we had left behind. She is an example on how to provide a welcoming and wonderful service to the customers. We spent two night visiting Noosa and the launching pad for our Fraser Island adventure. Thank you so much.
